A selection of Máté Balogh's new choral works can be heard on October 4 at the House of Hungarian Music.

Ryan Wigglesworth, the conductor of the London premiere of Fin de partie, came to Hungary on 11 July and worked with Kurtág for three days at the Budapest Music Center to prepare the performance.

Fin de partie will be premiered in the UK at BBC Proms on August 17.

The Classical Composition of the Year Award of Artisjus went 2023 to Máté Balogh's Sinfonia No. 1 and Bence Kutrik's choral work Song on a Spring Evening. The scores of both compositions have been published by UMP Editio Musica Budapest – congratulations to our authors!

On the centenary of György Ligeti's birth, as a part of Budapest Music Center's (BMC) festival Ligeti100, György Kurtág inaugurated György Ligeti Street next to the BMC.

Kurtág’s new orchestral composition commemorates the centenary of his close friend, György Ligeti.

On May 4, 2023, The Orchestra Now, conducted by Leon Botstein, will perform Kurtág's composition for solo violin, solo viola and large orchestra in New York City.

Between 1981 and 2016, UMP Editio Musica Budapest published more than 40 works for wind band, mainly by contemporary Hungarian composers. This tradition is now being continued by five new publications by Árpád Balázs and László Dubrovay.

On March 23, László Dubrovay is celebrated at a festive concert at the Budapest Academy of Music on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
